Replacing a rooftop unit isn't just a swap - it's a full operation. You've got heavy equipment on a flat roof, rigging involved, and a business below that can't afford to be down for long. Getting it wrong isn't an option.
Here's what we were working with: an aging Bryant packaged unit that had run its course. Old equipment like that starts costing more in repairs and energy than it's worth. The right move is replacing it cleanly and getting a properly sized, properly installed unit running in its place - which is exactly what we did.
We brought in a crane and the right crew to lift the old unit off and set the new Tempstar packaged unit in place. Rigging a rooftop unit takes coordination. The equipment is heavy, the roof surface has to be protected, and the new unit has to land level and secure. We take that seriously on every job.
Once the new unit was set, we handled all the startup and commissioning. That means checking every connection, verifying airflow, and making sure the system is actually running the way it should before we pack up and leave. A unit that's installed but not properly started up is still a problem waiting to happen.
This is the kind of work that keeps a commercial space comfortable and keeps your equipment running efficiently for years down the road. We do this the right way - not the fast way.
